My family and I are Assembly of God world missionary associates. We are part of a church planting team with a passion to share the love of Jesus Christ with the international community of Paris, France. We will be moving to Paris, France at the end of August to help plant an international, English-speaking church. Throughout the last year we have been traveling around the state of Wisconsin to raise money for us to go. We need to raise 100 percent of the support we need to do this mission work. God has blessed our fundraising even during this “tough” economic time. Currently we have raised our entire cash budget of $37,400. Our cash budget covers lots of one-time expenses such as flights over and back, down payments on our apartment and money to buy a vehicle. We also need to raise a monthly pledge support budget. The amount we need to raise for that is $6,106. Yes, that is every month we need that coming in. This money will pay for our monthly living expenses. It is not only expensive to live in Paris, but the US dollar is not very strong right now against the Euro. Since we have raised our full cash budget, any extra cash we get now will be applied to this pledge support budget. Currently we have raised approximately 63% of our monthly pledge support and still need for churches and individual to support us to raise the remaining 37% that we need. This can be done with a one-time cash offering or a pledge to give $20, $50, $100 or whatever amount the Lord lays on your heart on a monthly basis. We do need for many people to help financially and there are many of you who are already helping us. In Matthew 17:24-27, Jesus miraculously caused a fish to cough up the money to pay for taxes. We see from this passage that Jesus could have miraculously produced money to meet any need. Jesus instead decided to partner with people. This was the best plan! As we who are followers of Jesus give to support and send out workers, we are not only promised to be blessed, but we are stockpiling rewards in Heaven.
